Cancellation Policy

Terms & Conditions – Lactation Consultation 1. Scope of Service Lactation consultations are designed to provide professional breastfeeding education, guidance, and support. Services may include evaluation of feeding, positioning, latch, pumping, milk supply, and individualized care plans. 2. Limitations of Service -Lactation consultants do not replace your pediatrician, OB/GYN, or other medical providers. -No diagnosis, prescription, or medical treatment will be provided. -Any medical concerns beyond the scope of lactation care will be referred to your healthcare provider. 3. Appointments & Cancellations -Consultations are scheduled by appointment only. -Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. -Late arrivals may reduce consultation time, but will be billed in full. 4. Fees & Payment -Payment is due at the time of booking or at the beginning of the consultation, unless otherwise arranged. -Fees are non-refundable once the consultation has been completed. -Any insurance billing or reimbursement is the responsibility of the client unless prior arrangements have been made. 5. Confidentiality All personal and health information shared during consultations will be kept confidential and protected under HIPAA guidelines and applicable privacy laws. 6. Emergency Disclaimer Lactation consultations are not emergency services. If you or your baby experience urgent medical issues such as breathing difficulties, signs of dehydration, fever, infection, or any emergency, please call 911 or seek immediate medical care. 7. Agreement By booking a lactation consultation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
